We all know the XX Commonwealth Games in Glasgow are for humans proudly representing their nations. But what about the birds? In The Conference Call Of The Birds, Glasgow’s Live Art superstars Fish & Game invite the world’s National Birds to town. And because the birds can’t make it in person, so to speak, it’s up to us to represent them. This new multi-artform project saw the creation of 30 specially-commissioned bird posters by artist Mari Campistron, an intimate celebratory performance in which the audience represent the birds with sound and music from award-winning composer Greg Sinclair, and a new website where you can find out more about the birds and the countries they come from.PAST PERFORMANCES:
