Originally created as the cult performance event of 2007, Eilidh’s Daily Ukulele Ceilidh saw Eilidh MacAskill perform some sort of ukulele based show for every single day of the year.
Nowadays, Eilidh plays the ukulele slightly less often, but she still performs her witty blend of stand-up, storytelling and song as much as she can. Recent appearances include performing as MC at a kite festival, performing 80s love songs for a wedding in Dunlop, and dressing up as Robert Burns to sing jazz standards to visitors to Burns Cottage.
Eilidh teaches beginners ukulele for Glasgow Fiddle Workshop and also offers individual teaching.
